Oversikt Adding wireless access to voice-over-IP (VoIP) and data networks involves a variety of challenges, including new technologies and services, constantly evolving standards, and some unique obstacles to network security. This course will help students to master these challenges as they learn to add Wi-Fi mobility to wired networks. Using a series of practical labs, this course takes students from basic wireless configuration to deployment of a variety of advanced wireless solutions and components. These include "hot spots" for mobile wireless access, the broadband services manager, VPN, wireless IP phones, and mobile access routers. In addition to building wireless networks, a comprehensive overview of wireless' unique security problems and their solutions will be presented.
