Oversikt This course provides the skills and knowledge to set up, maintain, and manage the Contivity gateway, as well as its firewall, routing, security, network management, and local area network (LAN)/wide area network (WAN) capabilities. Through lecture and hands-on exercises, you examine the full set of hardware and software features. New hardware and features, such as TunnelGuard, BIS, FWUA, FW logging and ALGs, SSL Admin, and CLIP are covered.

This course is for technical professionals who are implementing and maintaining a Contivity Secure IP Services Gateway (SIPSG) as a security gateway between their private networks and/or between a private network and a public network.

- Use a combination of the Web menu, Serial menu, and Command Line Interface (CLI) to set up and maintain a Contivity gateway
- Set up both ends of user and branch office tunnels using IPSec and PPTP protocols, including fail-over and load balancing

- Configure routing policies, static routes, default routes, and dynamic routes using Routing Information Protocol (RIP) and Open Shortest Path First (OSPF)
