§ 1 Registration
§ 2 Support
The participants primary support contact is a Global Knowledge
Customer Service Representative, which can be reached according to
the contact details given in paragraph 1.
§ 3 Terms of Payment
An invoice will be issued when the participant registers for
the Global Knowledge Expert Guarantee, with 30 days payment terms
net. The fee will be charged VAT.
§ 4 Learning Process
4.1 E-Learning
We offer e-Learning in any of the two (2) following ways,
depending on what program you have booked;
1) For selected Expert Guarantee programs you will receive a
voucher sent to the address you have supplied to us. This voucher
will contain login details and instructions as to how to access
your e-Learning course.
Kindly note that the voucher you will receive allows you
to activate one course title. No returns or exchanges are allowed
once the product has been activated.
2) For other Expert Guarantee programs you will receive login
via email. Before you begin, a test needs to be done to check the
configuration of your system and the network access. To do this,
you need to access our sniffer page; This will test your
system, accessories, plug-ins & possible firewall issues. If
your system passes the test, you should not have any trouble doing
the e-Learning on your computer. The test starts as soon as you
click on the link, so it may take a little time for it load and
complete.
Please observe the date stated on the confirmation letter.
It is not the first time that you log in that defines the validity
period of your account.
4.2 Classroom
Learning
You will attend the instructor led course at the date of
choice. You will recieve the actual course material upon course
start. A separate course confirmation will be sent out to you in a
separate e-mail.
4.2.1 Registration
The participant registers for the relevant C-Learning course
available on our public course schedule on a date and location of
the participants preference.
Note that this registration does not automatically ensure
the participant a seat on the actual course.
4.2.2 Course material
The costs for course material are included in the total fee.
The course material will be handed out at the start of the
course.
4.2.3 Travel and Accomodation
Global Knowledge does not book nor pay for the participant's
accommodation or travel costs. The participant is responsible for
this.
4.2.4 Cancellation of C-Learning
course
Cancellation/re-scheduling is allowed up until 10 working days
before the course starts. If the participant wishes to cancel
within 10 working days of the course start date the participant
will be charged 100% of the course fee. Please note that in order
for the cancellation to be valid, Global Knowledge is required to
confirm the cancellation.
4.2.5 Course changes
Global Knowledge reserves the right to cancel a course at any
time without notice or liability. The period to take the exam will
be extended with the equivalent period until next possible
scheduled C-Learning event.
4.3 24x7 Online Reference
Library
We give you unlimited access to a Microsoft Library of books,
articles, and reports within your area of knowledge. The library
allows you to get quick answers to specific and important
questions. It is an excellent resource for studying and as a
reference material prio and after course helping you towards your
certification goal. A separate e-mail with your login details will
be sent directly to your e-mail address. You will have access for
12 months.
4.4 Mentoring
Mentoring is a direct line to experts and available to you
24/7 either by e-mail, web, chat or phone. Mentoring also includes
a search engine for knowledge and simulations with step-by-step
illustrations and multi tasking support if needed. The certified
experts are there for guidance and to help you stay on track for a
successful certification. It is available to you for 6
months.
4.5 Self Test Software
Before taking the actual exam, you can test your knowledge
skills by using Self Test Software. Self Test Software also
includes features such as; Learning Mode, Test Scoring, Online
Mentoring, Certification Mode and more, all intended to close any
possible knowledge gaps prior to taking the actual exam. You will
have access for 6 months.
Kindly note that no returns or exchanges are allowed once
the product has been activated.
4.6 Certification
When you are ready to take the actual exam, please notify us
by booking your exam on our web, calling 22 95 66 00 or
sending an e-mail to
info@globalknowledge.no In
order for us to order your exam we will need you to forward the
following information to us; name, company, Prometric ID, requested
date and time and that the exam is a part of your Expert Guarantee
package.
4.6.1 Registration
The participant registers for the relevant exam on a date and
location of the participants preference. It is recommended that the
participant take the test at the Global Knowledge training centre.
Exceptions to this can be made, but the participant needs to agree
this with Global Knowledge.
4.6.2 Cancellation of Exam
Cancellation/re-scheduling is allowed up until 48 hours before
the exam starts. The test will then be credited to be used later.
If cancellation/re-scheduling occurs within the 48 hours prior to
the exam starts, Global Knowledge will charge the student the list
price of the exam.
4.6.3 Repeat Exam
If the participant fails the certification test they are not
allowed to re-enrol in the same test within 14 days of taking the
exam.
4.6.4 Duration
There is no limit in terms of how many exams the participant
is allowed to take within the Global Knowledge Expert Guarantee.
There is, however, an end of life of the program after 6 months
from the date of booking the Expert Guarantee.
§ 5 Changes in
Program
Global Knowledge do not take responsibility for changes in the
program as a consequence of the vendor (Microsoft) changing their
training program.
