Cisco's New Certified Network Professional for Voice
(CCNP Voice)
Cisco recently completed a significant upgrade to their CCVP
program, including a new name: Cisco Certified Network Professional
Voice (CCNP Voice). The topics covered on these new exams better
reflect the daily job tasks of Cisco Unified Communications and
VoIP professionals and have streamlined the process of getting
certified by eliminating the enterprise/commercial option.
New to the CCNP Voice
Program?
Once you have earned the prerequisite CCNA
Voice certification, you'll need to pass five exams: CVOICE v8
(642-437), CIPT1 v8 (642-447), CIPT2 v8 (642-457), TVOICE
(642-427), and CAPPS (642-467) to achieve CCNP Voice certification.
The new courses that will help you prepare for the exams are:
• Implementing Cisco Voice Communications and QoS (CVOICEV8)
• Implementing Cisco Unified Communications Manager Part 1
(CIPT1V8)
• Implementing Cisco Unified Communications IP Telephony Part 2
(CIPT2V8)
• Troubleshooting UC Systems v8.0 (TVOICE)
• Integrating Cisco Unified Communications Applications v8.0
(CAPPS)
