Q: Who is eligible to participate in this promotion?

A: All Cisco Premier, Silver, Gold, and Master Partners in good standing who register for this promotion by July 1, 2011 are eligible. Only the first 500 confirmed partners to select a Cisco Specialized Learning Partner and begin the process of achieving an Architectural Specialization by December 31, 2011 will be awarded Cisco learning credits.

Q: How many Cisco learning credits will I receive if I qualify to receive them under this promotion?

A: Gold, Master, and Silver Partners will receive 50 Cisco learning credits worth US$5000 in Cisco training currency. Premier Partners will receive 25 Cisco learning credits worth US$2500 in Cisco training currency.

Q: Will my company earn multiple Cisco learning credits awards for each Architectural Specialization we earn?

A: No, only one distribution of Cisco learning credits according to your level of Channel Partner certification will be made per Channel Partner.

Q: How will I know if I have earned any Cisco learning credits under this promotion?

A: After July 1, Cisco will begin the process of verifying the first 500 partners that have qualified for Cisco learning credits under this promotion. Notification of partners who have earned Cisco learning credits will begin on August 1, 2011. Distribution of Cisco learning credits will begin within 60 days after notification.

Q: The promotion rules indicate the first 500 channel partners that select a Cisco Specialized Learning Partner and initiate the process of achieving one or more Architecture Specializations by December 31st, 2011 will receive up to US $5,000 in Cisco learning credits. On the registration site it requires a date that the channel partner has begun working with the Learning Partner. Is this the date that is used to determine the first 500 or is it the date that the registration is entered?

A: The date that is entered as the start date of working on the Architectural Specialization is the date that is used to determine the first 500. This date must be verified by the selected Specialized Learning Partner in order to be valid. Cisco will obtain this validation directly with the Learning Partner.

Q: What if Cisco learning credits are not usable in the country where my company resides?

A: If your company qualifies for Cisco learning credits under the terms of this promotion and Cisco learning credits are not operational in your country, Cisco will work with your Specialized Learning Partner to fund the equivalent amount of training to what the Cisco learning credits would have been valued at. Cisco reserves the right to provide other forms of compensation to the eligible partner, not to exceed the values used for this promotion.

Q: How does a partner prove that the process of achieving an Architectural Specialization has begun?

A: When completing the registration process, the partner must indicate the name of the Specialized Cisco Learning Partner with which they have begun the process of achieving an Architectural Specialization. Cisco will contact that Learning Partner to validate that this process has begun.

Q: Can I use any training company to begin this process and qualify for this promotion?

A: No, only Cisco Authorized Learning Partners who have achieved Specialized status in an advanced technology or Cisco Architecture can be utilized for this promotion.
