Global Knowledge showcases capability to deliver high quality
Microsoft learning across entire EMEA region at Tech∙Ed 2007
5th October 2007
Global Knowledge, Europe’s leading independent
training provider, will be showcasing its unique
ability to deliver consistent high quality learning experiences in
Microsoft technologies across the entire Europe, Middle East and
Africa region at the forthcoming Tech∙Ed IT Forum event, which
takes place
at the Centre Convencions Intenacional Barcelona (CCIB) between 12
and 16 November 2007.
Following its recent acquisition of Synergy Professional
Services (SPS), the leading Certified Partner
for Learning Solutions (CPLS) in the Middle East and Africa region,
Global Knowledge is able to offer a consistent and comprehensive
schedule of Microsoft curriculum courses throughout the EMEA
region. Jeffrey Smithies, Microsoft Product Director EMEA at Global
Knowledge, says that the company will use the Tech∙Ed IT Forum to
highlight this capability and also to emphasis the growing
importance of skills development in Microsoft technologies both to
Microsoft Partners and end user organisations.
“Tech∙Ed gives us an opportunity to meet with Microsoft
professionals and managers with
responsibility for training and to demonstrate our extensive
capabilities and experience in delivering skills development
programmes to customers throughout the EMEA region. Like Global
Knowledge, Synergy is a fully accredited Microsoft Gold CPLS and
its acquisition extends our ability to deliver consistent and high
quality courses within the Microsoft Official Curriculum throughout
Europe and
in the rapidly growing Middle East and African markets.”
Global Knowledge’s presence at Tech∙Ed IT is also a
demonstration of the company’s commitment
to continued investment and development of its Microsoft education
capabilities. “Global Knowledge is committed to leading the way in
Microsoft learning and we will continue to invest in our people and
resources to ensure we maintain that leadership position. With many
new Microsoft technologies due to be launched over the next few
months and upgrade cycle to Windows Vista, Exchange Server 2007 and
other key solutions continuing, Partners and end user organizations
need to ensure that they are ready to benefit from the new features
and capabilities these products deliver. “We see our role as making
sure that they have every opportunity to do that”, says
Smithies.
Global Knowledge will be outlining its plans to schedule
training for a number of new Microsoft products at the event. Key
solutions due to be launched over the coming months include Office
Communications Server (OCS) 2007, Windows Server 2008, SQL Server
2008, Visual Studio 2008, with additions the Forefront and Systems
Centre portfolios. Global Knowledge has been closely involved in
the Microsoft Readiness Programme for OCS 2007 and expects to be
the first Learning Partner to offer courses on the product later
this year.
Smithies says that the company’s experts will be happy to offer
advice and guidance on Microsoft
skills development to any Partner or customer that visits the
company’s stand at the Tech∙Ed event. The company will be located
on stand D36 next to one its key partners, Prometric, and the two
organisations will be running a number of promotions and special
offers throughout the five day conference and exhibition. The
Tech∙Ed IT event for IT professionals and partners follows
the
Tech∙Ed Developers Forum which takes place between 5 and 9 November
at the same venue.
