Adventures in
Virtualization
Course Objectives:
Today’s powerful x64 bit computer hardware was
originally designed to run only a single operating system and a
single application, but virtualization breaks that bond, making it
possible to run multiple operating systems and multiple
applications on the same computer at the same time, increasing the
utilization and flexibility of hardware.
The latest release of Windows server 2008
represents the next generation of Server platform and a major
investment for Microsoft. As a product, Server 2008 contains more
cool features than your average James Bond movie. “Q” would be
proud! One of the “must have’s” of 2008 is Virtualization.
From Hyper-V to Terminal Services. Virtualization is expanding into
new areas and changing our world.
This exclusive and intensive 2 day event is
designed for experienced users of the Windows Server platform and
aims to give a clear understanding on what virtualization is and
more importantly what it can do. From Machine, Presentation and
Application Virtualization we dive deeper into new and anticipated
technologies. Previous knowledge or skills would be useful.
