Cisco's CCNA and CCNP Data Center Certifications have been refreshed to reflect the need for Data Center professionals that can help enable business agility.
IT professionals who are Cisco trained and certified are uniquely qualified for key roles in complex data center environments, with expertise in utilizing technologies such as policy-driven infrastructure, virtualization, automation and orchestration, unified computing, data center security, and integration of cloud initiatives.
How have the certifications changed?
CCNA Data Center courses include new content and extensive hands-on learning that focus on: Data center networking; Basics of cloud computing; Automation and orchestration of the data center infrastructure; Basic functions of Cisco UCS Director; Cisco Application Centric Infrastructure (ACI)
CCNP Data Center courses include even more emphasis on hands-on learning than previous versions. There is a significantly expanded emphasis on data center virtualization, automation, and ACI management and monitoring, with a new course and exam focused on these topics, as well as on data center security and data center storage connectivity.
